How Do You Recondition Your Batteries?

Green Bean Battery Support

So, it's a 7-day process. When we get a battery back, it gets completely disassemble and our production team will work to bring all the modules back to 100% OEM capacity. Now the modules will go through a few vetting tests for quality control. The modules that fail the first test will be immediately discarded. The modules that pass this test will move into 2nd stage of testing. This is where we put the modules under a much heavier load - more so than what a car can even provide. We will usually find more modules that fail this test - which are then discarded. The modules that pass this test will move on to get reconditioned. The reconditioned modules are grouped together to build the battery pack. We upgrade the ECU (computer) with a new connector to help prevent corrosion. We also nickel coat the bus bars and add new wiring harnesses. Once it's produced, the battery will be tested again for quality control, and once it passes, it will be ready for installation!
