Poor vehicle maintenance may include not changing your oil, allowing the vehicle to sit for extended periods of time (30 days+), etc. A lack of regular and proper vehicle maintenance, like not changing your oil, can cause engine issues. This may be an exclusion because the hybrid battery get's recharged from engine power. If the gas engine is not working properly, due to lack of oil for example, then the engine won't recharge the hybrid battery optimally, causing the hybrid battery to discharge. Because this is not due to a fault of Green Bean Battery, it may not necessarily be covered under the warranty, because Green Bean Battery didn't cause that to happen. In this example, the lack of vehicle maintenance, in this example not changing the oil, has caused the battery to fail prematurely.
